Whew~ These few days had been hectic. No, these 2 months had been crazy. I was attempting to finish the game as soon as I can, but so many things happening at the same time that I kinda messed up my schedule. In any case, it's done, and I'm happy with how it look~! Thanks for everyone who played it! It always made me feel happy to hear what everyone has to say about the game. ^^

In case of Area-X, rest assured that I'll get that done. It is my biggest project this year, and I hope to finish it some time this year. Probably June or later. (Don't count on this because this game is gigantic...probably the last big game I'll make for a while.)

About

Rules & Information

New Rules
After seeing some of the entries, I decided to add a couple more new rules:
- I must be able to recognize my characters. If I don't, I have to disqualify it. (Please don't submit a random girl and call her Essi.)
- The characters must not be completely out of characters. (I'm sorry, there's a limit of how much I can tolerate OOC situation. Orz)
- No 5 minutes doodle, please. (The deadline is far away, so there are more than enough time.)

- Keep it PG. No nudity. A little blood is fine, but no gore.
- Can be made in any media. (Digital or traditional)
- There's no limit of how many entry you can enter
- There's no limit in how many characters you can draw
- There's no limit in size of the picture
- You don't have to ask my permission to join, just send me the entry and you are in! :]

It's almost 3 months since I released OASE, I like to do an update on the game before end of this year. So if you have anything you like me to fix, you can list them here. I am not sure if I can fulfill every request, but I'll do my best.

Stuff I'm planning fix:
1. Bug fixes: Nachel's path (The 12th item is messed up)
2. Reduce difficulty on Chena's dancing mini-game (Originally 95, I'm going to drop the requirement to 90)
3. Add more information in readme file, I also plan to add mini guide to help people solve the game.

This new version will be used for OASE CD edition. For those who bought the game via download, you can request for new download link when the new version is out. (You have to include email you used when you purchased the game.)

Calm before storm? Nah, it's more like storm after another storm. That's how I spent the entire week before my birthday.

My entire family had to go out for an entire week. I insisted of staying at home because I wanted to release OASE on my birthday. Since my mum didn't want to leave me alone at home, I had to travel to my elder brother's house. Then the first problem hit me.

I forgot to bring my Wrist Band!!! So I endured working on the website, demo, beta testing OASE without my wrist band. To reduce my hand pain, I opted using tablet instead of mouse.

When I finally get used with tablet, the next problem hit me. There weren't any working table in my bro house. I have to work on the bed. Sounds good, until I break my back. I can't sit for too long without hurting it.

So I endured all of that, slept about 4 hours a day, and finally managed to finish everything on time, or so I thought. The internet decided to fail on me 2 days before 16 Sept. The upload speed ran about 5 kbps!!! It's impossible to upload on time with that kind of speed.

I was freaking out the entire day, thinking that I won't make it. I thought all my hard work gone to the drain. I really want to find a hole to jump off (What a horrible way to start your birthday.)

Luckily my bro came to the rescue. He helped to solve the internet problem, and now it finally running normal. If all goes well, it should get uploaded in 4 hours.

tl;dr This is the scariest birthday I ever have in my life. I didn't do anything but freaking out... Orz

Yay, for being late for 10 days.... Orz

My mind still not quite sane at the moment. It feels unreal that it's already 2010. I have achieved absolutely nothing last year. T-T

I still remember writing a new year resolution since 2007 about finishing OASE, but look.... it's 2010, and OASE is not out yet *Stabs myself 100000000000th times* I hope nobody here thinking it gonna be an awesome game because it took me so long. That game is filled with patches and stitches. The game is far from perfection, it's more like a journal of me attempting new things. If I look back at some of the beginning part of OASE, I cringe hard.... It is THAT bad. ~~( -__- )~~

In short, please lower your expectation of OASE (I fail at marketing~ What am I doing calling my own product crap.... Orz)

Let see, at the moment, OASE is about 80% completed. The release date is probably around May 2010, and that me being really really optimistic. Expect 1-2 months delay.

For some company as big as Yahoo!, I would expect better service. They charged me ridiculous price, so that much should be the minimum requirement.

A few days ago, I was trying to change my hosting plan from Web Hosting starter to Web hosting. And for some unknown reason it kept on telling me the order had been canceled. So I tried 3 times, and they all didn't go through.... Or so I thought... Days later my bank was charged 3 times of the same service and accumulated for a total of 400 usd. And funny enough, my service still remain Web Hosting Starter despite paying 400 usd.

So I decided to call the customer support. They let me wait for a long time, and by the time there is someone, they just told me they can't do anything. They don't even tell me any reasons why my order was canceled, or why they still ended charging my card.

I called the customer service again hoping to find a better person to talk too. Nothing changed aside from them telling me they can't do a thing. It wasn't solved until I call my bank to cancel the payment. Even after all of those, they still don't tell me how to change my plan. How retarded.

Thanks to that, I have decided to change hosting service elsewhere. I am not going to give Yahoo anymore money. >__>

Anyway, this is just a friendly advice for anyone who want to get web-hosting. Do not choose Yahoo! It's not worth the money!

What is OASE?

It is an adventure/dating sim game that ~muhoho-seijin and I working on right now. It is a sequel to Other Age: [link] It is sort for Other Age Second Encounter. It is going to be the first game we intend to sell, and it is what occupies us all this time.

So when it is going to finish?
