Need some help from copic/marker users' u ' As all of you guys know I want to go into art profession, so I'm trying to extend my reach as far as I can to different materials-- So, what I'm trying to ask is, is it worth getting buying a copic set as a beginner? I've used prismacolor before, but I've talked to a few other art students that say Copic is a lot better than prisma and would tend to my needs. So, any input?? I just really want to make sure I should buy these before making a purchase...

Commissions / Trades
This Monday is a bank holiday so I get a long weekend (I'm also taking a personal day tomorrow), I will be completing as many commissions / trades as possible. I want to be done with the $5 drawings (I can't really call them sketches anymore). There are a couple important works I really want to finish as well.
Please do not ask me at this time for commissions / trades, when I'm open again I will post about it in my journal. I do sometimes take requests but only on Tumblr and only if it's something simple and fun.

Let me tell ya, this was very hard to choose, especially for Evo and Drake but I have made my decision and here is the results.

Updates and something new!

Alright, I've received all of our winner's information, except one! Most things have been mailed, and I'm about to hand over information to Sasu so that keychains can be given out~ We are on a roll! It seems like magically so far everyone has been able to get their choice in artist for prize commissions too :'D hopefully this luck continues without any hitches!

Next on the adgenda is a tumblr I've created for our lovely group! Here you can blog about AkuRoku, show off icons, art, cosplay, fanfictions whatever! dA can be difficult sometimes with some of our art concerning AkuRoku, but you won't be as limited on our tumblr. Livestreaming tomorrowThat's right I'm going to give it a try... An Open Letter to PottermoreDear Pottermore,
You really had me in your hyped-up clutches when you were announced. Hoo boy, I was so excited. My sister and her friend and I conspired to keep a night watch on the website to make sure we all got woken up when the quill arrived (which was at 3am pacific time; I regret nothing). We even found a song parody of "Friday" written up on the internet and decided to sing it and put it on YouTube (still nothing regretted). It was a great time for Potterheads - in the wake of the final movie, we were all of a sudden promised wonderful things on the way. The team was working so hard on it for so long, and JK Rowling herself was involved. How could this possibly not be awesome? The waiting game was hard, I'll admit. But while it drove some people crazy, I could deal with it. I enjoyed the anticipation. It gave fans something else to be excited about after the final movie. And it made me so happy when my welcome email finally came!!

Remember the good old days when you used to get extra characters and costumes and all sorts of goodies for actually just PLAYING the game? Lotta fighter games these days make you pay money, not time, for rewards.
Hell MK pissed me off a wee bit with the Komplete edition, SxT with my fave character Bryan as DLC,
Extra costumes for certain characters/ extra characters in ultimate marvel vs capcom also DLC... list goes on and on...
