For some company as big as Yahoo!, I would expect better service. They charged me a ridiculous price, so that much should be the minimum requirement.
A few days ago, I was trying to change my hosting plan from Web Hosting starter to Web hosting. And for some unknown reason it kept on telling me the order had been canceled. So I tried 3 times, and they all didn't go through... Or so I thought... Days later my bank was charged 3 times of the same service and accumulated for a total of 400 USD. And funny enough, my service still remains Web Hosting Starter despite paying 400 USD.
So I decided to call customer support. They let me wait for a long time, and by the time there is someone, they just told me they can't do anything. They don't even tell me any reasons why my order was canceled, or why they still ended charging my card.
I called the customer service again hoping to find a better person to talk too. Nothing changed aside from them telling me they can't do a thing. It wasn't solved until I call my bank to cancel the payment. Even after all of those, they still don't tell me how to change my plan. How retarded.
Thanks to that, I have decided to change the hosting service elsewhere. I am not going to give Yahoo any more money. >__>
Anyway, this is just friendly advice for anyone who wants to get web-hosting. Do not choose Yahoo! It's not worth the money!
